We got to see, do, and learn things that I never would have known about otherwise. I enjoyed Marks sense of humor and knowledge of the areas we visited. I was totally awed by the Glastonbury Abbey, the Wells Cathedral and its astronomical clock. I was thrilled to touch Hadrian's wall! Mark is just fun to be around. Our experience was great! Perhaps the longer walk to and from town contributed. I had an absolutely great trip. It met our expectations. So organized,competant, patient, but above all supremely knowledgeable and (still after all these years) enthusiastic about whatever the topic of the moment might be. The change in itinerary leaving out Westminster Abbey caused us to miss charging of guard because of time conflict. This tour accomplished all of that. I especially liked our private folk music concert, personal tour of Stanway House, and seeing the lovely, quaint villages filled with stone houses and flowers. Hadrian Wall

"This trip was filled with many memorable "wowers" ... volunteering to bring in the sheep with the dog, Evensong at York Minster, listening to the musicians at pub at Stowe on the Wold and others.
